Claude practices predominantly in family law (parenting and property), child protection and domestic violence proceedings.
Claude has a strong interest in complex property proceedings particularly those involving equitable remedies.
Before commencing at the private Bar, Claude practised as a lawyer with the Office of the Director of Child Protection Litigation (DCPL) and with the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions. His current practice largely involves representing parties in a wide range of parenting and property disputes following separation. He also appears regularly in child protection matters where the DCPL is prosecuting applications for child protection orders against parents.
Claude has appeared in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia in interim matters and at final hearings in both divisions. He has also appeared unled before the Full Court of the Family Court.
